Thursday

I have been slow in the studio this week. New progress is being made on the "tree" painting (hopefully be posting a new photo tomorrow), but I had to take advantage of the three sunny days we've had. This has been the rainiest summer I can ever remember here in Maine. On Tuesday I drove to Scarborough (Prouts Neck) to drop off two paintings for the show I mentioned earlier. I brought my kids and my mother along to enjoy the trip. What a beautiful day it was. We walked on the "cliff walk" where Winslow Homer used to paint. It was an inspirational day for two artists. Food for the creative mind and an awesome playground for kids that love to climb rocks. Sometimes I can't believe I live in a place that is so beautiful!
