Vincent Van Gogh painted a cherry tree in blossom that inspires me endlessly. I painted an apple tree in blossom from a photo in the spirit of his painting and it was less than satisfying. So I decided to paint one from my imagination and here it is. I like it better than the one that I did with a reference. It's a 6"x6" oil.
