Keeping the "glow" is so tricky. I'll try again when I can get to the grocery store, I'm out of fresh things to paint! I didn't even get to the grapes I bought which are well on their way to raisins now.
Because most of the paintings I paint are a bit larger than what I can finish in one day, some are posted in an unfinished state so you can see what I am working on.
