I've been working on this one for a few days. I hope to get it close enough, or done and take it off of the easel tomorrow. I have sketched out another peony for next week too. Seems to be my focus lately, trees and peonies. If ever there was a long winter in Maine, this is it. So I offer this painting and all it's warm weather optimism for all of you fellow New Englanders. Spring-like weather is coming!!
*2 more inches of snow forcasted for tonight, ugh. It is March 27th, right?

I love this piece! I am in awe because the upwards angle really makes me what to look around and see what else is there. The 3 trees just pull me right in. You're very talented!
