24"x48". I only had plans to sketch it out this morning and I couldn't walk away from it. I didn't even remember to eat lunch today, but I feel full. :)
I'm planning to do quite a few trees this winter. I don't have that many good reference photos of red trees, so I hope I don't get tired of painting these yellowy ones. I've been wanting to paint a tree at night for a while. I imagine it to be filled with dark blues, purples and hints of moonlight. Love the feedback, thank you.
Because most of the paintings I paint are a bit larger than what I can finish in one day, some are posted in an unfinished state so you can see what I am working on.
